In all honesty... Why do the Kurds hate Hamas and its followers in Palestine and the Arab and Islamic region?

Geostrategic Editorial Board
During the past years, the Hamas movement and its supporters in Palestine and the Arab and Islamic world expressed their absolute support for the Turkish regime’s criminal actions against the Kurdish people, especially after the Turkish invasion of the Kurdish areas in Syria, where Hamas’ position was very bad and supportive of the Turkish actions. The corridors of Hamas politicians and its armed groups witnessed fiery statements in support of the ethnic genocide carried out by the Turkish army in Afrin against the Kurdish people, after removing Syrian Kurdish citizens from the region and replacing them with groups from other Syrian regions (Turkmen and Sunni Arabs) and implementing an organized settlement project in which historical landmarks were changed and imposed by force. A new demographic reality.

In addition, the Hamas movement and its supporters moved towards supporting the construction of settlements in the areas of Afrin, where they collected money and capabilities and presented them to extremist associations affiliated with the Turkish occupation to implement the settlement project.
This was surprising for the Kurdish people, after the Kurds and their political movement had supported the struggle of the Palestinian people over the past decades. Many Kurds attribute the reasons for Israeli anger at the Kurdish people and the failure to open any outlets to support the Kurdish revolutionary movement to the Kurdish positions in support of the Palestinian struggle against Israel.

The Kurds consider that the actions of the Hamas movement and its supporters in the Arab and Islamic world are very dangerous in light of the military and security atrocities committed by Turkey against the people and the Kurdish issue in the Middle East. The political background of this movement is clearly affiliation to the extremist groups that Turkey uses, whether militarily or through political positions against any... Kurdish national struggle. In addition to the military actions of Hamas after it carried out a terrorist operation inside Israel and in civilian areas. The political data and biases of the interlocutors resulted in the inclination of this movement and all political Islam groups represented by the Muslim Brotherhood to dictatorial regimes in the Middle East, most notably the Turkish and Syrian regimes.

During the past decades, most Arab and Islamic countries invested in the Palestinian cause, each according to the criteria of serving their security and their own interests. At the forefront of these countries was Turkey and Iran as two main forces controlling the course of what is known as the Palestinian Islamic resistance (Hamas - Jihad, etc.), and during the eighties and nineties. The defunct Iraqi regime played an important role in guiding some Palestinian groups, as positions emerged in support of some active groups of Saddam Hussein's regime, and their support for what the Iraqi army carried out against the Kurdish people. The Kurdish popular movement has many question marks regarding these positions. During the Syrian crisis, these groups also took bad positions towards the Syrian Kurds, as they supported the Turkish war on the Kurds and are now contributing to building settlements within the Syrian Kurdish areas occupied by Turkey.

These deposits directly affected the Kurdish view of the Palestinian movement, and this absurdity that some of its groups take against the Kurdish people, in contrast to the firm Israeli position towards the Kurds in not communicating with them for reasons related to the Kurds’ support for the Palestinian cause, so these transformations had a real impact in pushing the Kurds to return Study the situation and evaluate the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

The current Kurdish position, as evidenced by its party and public movement:

- The Palestinian liberation movement consists of two axes (one in the West Bank and another in Gaza) and they cannot be put together in one basket.
- The Hamas movement and its supporters are an integral part of the interests of Turkey and Iran and have no connection to the Arab depth.
What Hamas carried out in the recent operation is similar to the criminal acts carried out by ISIS groups in the Kurdish regions, Syria and Iraq.
- The Kurdish people do not see Hamas and its counterparts as a Palestinian liberation movement, but rather merely a tool to serve the Turkish-Iranian project of destabilizing the security and stability of the region before Israel.
The Kurds find that international resolutions are the correct path to building two states (Israel - Palestine).
