Title: "Unifying Kurdish Discourse, Action, and Struggle: The Right to Self-Determination and Establishing a Kurdish Civil Society Umbrella"
Introduction:
Today, the Conference of Kurdish Civil Society Organizations in Europe was held in Arnhem, Netherlands, with the participation of over 12 organizations from the four parts of Kurdistan, as well as various guests and representatives from the Kurdish diaspora. The conference aimed to strengthen Kurdish unity in discourse and action, with a focus on the right to self-determination and the creation of a unifying umbrella for Kurdish civil society. The event also emphasized support and solidarity with the resistance in Rojava.
Opening Session:
The conference opened with speeches from participating organizations and guests, highlighting the importance of collective efforts and the role of civil society in building a unified Kurdish vision.
First Session:
The discussions in the first session addressed the main reasons hindering the advancement of the Kurdish cause across all parts of Kurdistan. Participants analyzed the internal and external factors that have obstructed Kurdish progress and hindered their voice from reaching international decision-making platforms.
The session also explored strategies required by Kurdish civil society in Europe to present the Kurdish cause effectively on the global stage, with a particular emphasis on the role of the Kurdish diaspora.
Second Session:
The second session focused on defining Kurdish identity and devising plans and strategies to understand and advocate for the Kurdish cause accurately. Participants discussed the need for a clear and unified vision for Kurdistan based on the right to self-determination, free from the influence of occupying states.
The session emphasized the importance of raising international awareness about the Kurdish issue through civil society initiatives and media outreach.

The necessity of establishing a unifying umbrella organization to bring together all Kurdish civil society movements.
