Despite the displacement of at least 350,000 Kurdish civilians from Afrin, approximately 25,000 Kurds are still stuck in the area, facing daily crimes at the hands of mercenary groups of the Syrian opposition and under the auspices of the Turkish occupation army.

In this report, we monitor a number of violations carried out by these groups and the Turkish occupation during the past week.

The militias, using bulldozers, for logging and trade, cut down the forests surrounding the village (Eşûnê/20 hectares, Selmên/50 hectares, Hesê/ west of the village/30 hectares, Işûnê/5 hectares, Ibish and Sheikh Haider and Alloush with a total area of ​​10 hectares), in addition to cutting down a perennial cypress tree in the northeast of the village, and sometimes setting fires to the forests; The militias prevent the indigenous population even from collecting the remains of the forest plots, claiming that the recruits are entitled to them.
